Effective Date: September 8, 2026

Floto respects the intellectual property rights of photographers, creators, and other copyright holders.

Because Floto allows users to upload and publicly share photographs, projects, profiles, and other content, we take copyright concerns seriously and will respond to valid claims of copyright infringement in accordance with applicable law, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), where applicable.

1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content available on Floto infringes your copyright, you may submit a copyright infringement notice to info@floto.xyz.

Your notice should include sufficient information for us to identify the copyrighted work and the material you believe is infringing.

To help us process your request, please include:

  • Your full name and contact information

  • A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed

  • Information reasonably sufficient to identify the material on Floto, including a link or other location where the material can be found

  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law

  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate

  • A statement that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

  • Your physical or electronic signature

2. DMCA Notices

A copyright infringement notice must contain enough information for Floto to reasonably understand the nature of the claim.

Incomplete or inaccurate notices may delay our ability to respond.

After receiving a valid notice, Floto may remove or restrict access to the reported content and may notify the user who submitted the content.

Submitting a false or materially misleading copyright infringement claim may result in legal consequences.

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed or restricted because of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification where permitted by applicable law.

A counter-notification should include:

  • Your full name and contact information

  • Identification of the material that was removed or restricted and where it appeared before removal

  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or restricted as a result of mistake or misidentification

  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal court as required under applicable law

  • A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original copyright infringement notification

  • Your physical or electronic signature

Counter-notifications should be sent to info@floto.xyz.

Where required by applicable law, Floto may forward a valid counter-notification to the original complaining party.

4. Repeat Infringers

Floto may, in appropriate circumstances, restrict or terminate accounts belonging to users who repeatedly infringe the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of others.

We may also remove or restrict access to content that we reasonably believe violates copyright law or our Terms of Use.

5. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights and permissions before uploading or publishing photographs, projects, written material, or other content on Floto.

Uploading content to Floto does not transfer ownership of that content to Floto.

Users retain ownership of their original work, subject to the licenses and permissions described in the Floto Terms of Use.

6. Unauthorized Use of Photographs

Photographs displayed on Floto may be protected by copyright.

Viewing a photograph on Floto does not grant permission to download, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, publish, or otherwise use that photograph without authorization from the applicable rights holder.

Users should obtain appropriate permission before using another person's work.

7. AI-Generated Content

Floto does not permit fully AI-generated images to be submitted as photographic work.

If you believe a photograph or image on Floto violates this requirement or has been misrepresented as original photographic work, you may report it to info@floto.xyz.

Reports regarding AI-generated content are handled under Floto's Community Guidelines and Terms of Use and may be reviewed separately from formal copyright claims.

8. Removal of Content

Floto reserves the right to remove, disable, restrict, or limit access to content that is the subject of a valid copyright complaint or that we reasonably believe may violate applicable law or our policies.

Removing content does not constitute a determination that copyright infringement has occurred.

9. Other Intellectual Property Concerns

This policy primarily addresses copyright concerns.

If you believe content on Floto infringes a trademark, right of publicity, privacy right, or another intellectual property or legal right, please contact us at info@floto.xyz with information about the issue.
